My employer's nature of business is getting work on contract basis from other company and having 15 employee in my company. Now, we need to know that - can we eligible to deduct pf or ESI according to law ? or is it mandatory for us?

Sir, if the unit in which you are working is employing 10 or more persons, then the same is definitely coverable under ESI Act, 1948 as "shop" under section 1(5) of said Act if the same falls under implemented area. In order to get the issue settled and examined correctly, it is appropriate if you/your employer may contact the nearest office of ESIC alongwith relevant records and duly completed forum 01 for obtaining code number under said Act.
