sir, whether workmen as defined in industrial and commercial employment standing orders includes managerial ,supervisory or admin staff while workmen is defined in standing orders as workman means any person employed in any industrial or commercial establishment to do any skilled or unskilled, manual or electrical work for hire or reward?

Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act has not defined workman. The Act says that in respect of workman (and wages) the same interpretations as given in the Industrial Disputes Act will apply here (Standing Order Act) also. Therefore, it depends on how you draft the standing orders and define or interpret the workman/ employee. If you apply the provisions of your standing orders to all employees including your managers, then it will be applicable to the managers also and on the other hand, if you confine it to workers without reference to supervisors and managers, then it will be applicable to those who have no supervisory or managerial functions and rights.
