Hi Jiten,
As you mentioned it is true that SAP-HR is a movement from manual to computerized work.
To be more specific, SAP is one of ERP softwares.
In this we have Personnel Administration, Time management, Appraisals, Payroll, Tranings, Recruitment, It got many things which HR performs in daily life for the company.
On top of that if your superior who is sitting at far place wants to see the status and reports/details, he/she can see reports using this software.
So I can say SAP-HR has everything grouped in one box.
Do let me know if you need any other information.

In HR , generally employee resist to work on computerized work environment (SAP-HR) because they feel that they will be separated from their core area and will be made responsible for punching data into computerized forms, generating various reports and forwarding to mgmt. for taking decisions or they will work as assistant only.
Kindly reply with the new role of HR professionals in SAP-HR work environment

Hello,
have heard of an institute in mumbai, Global Enterprise Infotech Solutions (GEIS). They are offering the 15 days fast track SAP course for 30k. Can someone suggest if GEIS is a good institute to do SAP HR from? or else, can you please recommend an institute offering SAP in Delhi on a reasonable price?

Hi Jiten,
Before investing / learning SAP HR be sure that you had worked in HR & IR function and have a thorough knowledge including payroll.
In Corporate HR you will have simplified form of compensation. If you see with regard to Workmen / Frontliners you will have a vast area to learn.
Why I say this is, the data which starts from pre-Recruitment is being transfered through various modules upto retrenchment (Organisation Management, Recruitment, Personnel Administration, Time management, Appraisals, Payroll, Tranings). A crystal clear and vast knowledge will help you to easily learn the confirguration part of SAP HR.
When you learn SAP HR, pls do learn Payroll module also where you have good scope of placement. Placement will be 99% in IT sector.
Regards
Bharathi
