Hi,
Yesterday I was called for an personal interactions in a firm, and there while I was waiting for the same someone came and provided me a form and a questionaire.....after filling up the form I peeped into the quetionaire...which was a difficult nut to crack, as I am not well versed with those areas.
So I need to buy some relevant books on the following topics:

1. NI ACT-with sections , their interpretations and also any book showing the examples of simple and complex problem solving approach related to checques, P/notes...etc. including the procedures involved in solving those problems.

2. Drafting and vetting of various complex and simple writ petitions/Arbitration petitions for company related issues....

3. A book on Company law with sections their interpretations and with examples of relevant problems and their solutions with proper explanations.

I know that there may be different books related to each topics in every point as asked above....but the books should be simple in language and can be understood easily by the first hand users-such as
A book on Transfer of Property Act, 1882 written by R.N.Sinha,
It was a nice and with simple and easy language, can be understood even by a non legal person..

Please help me out to buy the books as mentioned above and for the same please give me the names of the books with the authors of the books, so that I may go to a law book store or may also shop online. I am in mumbai and new to this place, so if any one can also text me the name of the shop overhere or any website address from where the listed books may be bought.....it wl be really helpful for me.
Please feel it urgent as may be the next I wl be called up again for some discussions....

Regards,

Amit Kumar

Hi Amit,
To be frank, likings and understandings differ from person to person. So, if members start recommending books on required topics, neither you would afford to buy all, nor can be prove to be useful to you as per your own expectation, liking or understanding.
So, it is suggested, you may better visit some law book shop, where you can get plenty of such books to be selected as per your liking and easy understanding.

Better buy books with commentary instead of bare acts. Bare acts may be difficult for you to understand the law appropriately. You may also purchase some guide books, read them, but must go through the relevant sections of the act, so that you may properly interpret law and also know whether the author has correctly interpreted, as some guide books are prepared by some novices also.
