Respected Seniors,
I have 2years 6months experience in IT recruitment and i left my job on Nov 2015 due to health issues. I have recovered from my health issues and looking for a change. I had been interviewed in XYZ consultancy and i would glad to say that i have cleared all the rounds and hiring manager told me to submit all the required documents too. I have submited all my documents and informed them i would be able to join after sankranthi festival that is on 18th jan 2016. But when i called HR department they told we have sent all your documents to the senior managenent. once they approve only offer would be released.
So my question is Is same happens in all companies and consultancies?????
when i asked whether i selected or not she told everything will be confirmed on monday But once confirmed only know they will ask us to submit the documents. Iam confused whether i have to keep hopes on my offer letter or start searching for a new job. please pour your opinions and i would like to welcome suggestions also........
Thanks in advance,
Bhavya

I do hope only xerox copies of documents have been sent to the company.
No one can predict whether senior management will accept or not,but chances are there that they will give positive response.
But no one stops you from looking around still.
You may get a confirmed offer before these people decide.
So continue applying till you get a confirmed offer and do not remain on mere words alone.
All the best

Hi Bhavya,
Did you receive just call confirmation from them that you are selected or did you receive a proper offer letter. If it was just verbal communication then chances are that they might flip the decision, never know what the senior management decides.
In my opinion you can keep hopes form this job if you are pretty sure that all the documents that you have submitted are in accordance with the details you had provided at the time of interview. Keep applying till then. Good Luck!
