In the competition in talent market, compensation is one of the vital focuses. How do you get the EXACT compensation&benefit of other compines of your industry to improve the compensation&benefit system of your company?
Do you
- cooperate with the consulting company to get the info exchanged with money?
- collect info from the job applicants jumpted from the other companies?
- Or other method/channel?
I am confused about it. which one is the most effective?

The first and the foremost you could exchange report from a consultant company on money and then its an ongoing exercise trying to capture the information from various sources like
1 The candidates who you interview
2 In general converstaion with your network people
3 Articles in various magizines/papers
4 Also from informal chats with the employees, who have friends working in different orgnaization of different sizes
But in all these efforts one thing that you have to maintain is the internal equity at all given times otherwise this causes a lot of unrest.
