Hi,
I have recently joined a manufacturing company in HR department and i have given the task to set KRA'S of all employees. Kindly guide me in this so that i can set job descriptions for all the employees.

Dear Reena,

Heading of your post is about Job Description (JD) and in the main body of the post you have written that you require help on setting KRAs. Therefore, please confirm what exactly is your requirement. Both are different.

KPIs and KRAs need to be customised as per your company's need. You cannot make generalisation based on the industry. Within needs of the companies vary widely. To establish the customised KRAs, you need to study the system and process of each department. Therefore, it is exhaustive job. Secondly, if you are from HR then it is not your job to design the KRAs. It is the job of HOD of each department.
