Dear Kajal,
As far as notice period is concern employer has a rights to recover from your full & final settlement but no employer has authority to recover your PF Claim amount & gratuity amount from your F&F.

Legally there is no such thing called recovery of gratuity. PF, ESI, PF , IT and statutory recoveries can be made from salary.

Hello Vineet,
Thankyou so much, also please if you can suggest me one more thing if I have done my exit formalities where I did not have any company dues pending on me also I had never applied for any type of loan and other financial things, still company can recover my PF amount? If no according to law then what step I should take if my employer has given me a false reason.

I did not give a prior notice period but my resignation was accepted by employer and he gave me relieving letter same when I left.
