Dear sir,
My name is vaithiyanathan, I have work mnc company last 2 year. I have one doubt regards diwali bonus calculation. This is they are not give to me bonus because of i have taken leave 21 days the year.
The company Admin person the leave calculate by the month of October-2014 to November 2015. Is this any option they calculate like this. or kindly confirm the leave only calculate by financial year basis for bonus?

The bonus will be calculated on Indian Financial Year i.e., April to March. In your case they have calculated from April'14 to Mar'15 and the same has been paid at the time of Diwali.
The bonus will be calculated on earned (Basic + DA), so your leaves, LOPs etc are nothing to do with Bonus calculation.

Hi Mr.Vaithi,
Ever employee is entitled to receive bonus from employer in an accounting year a bonus in accordance with the provisions of bonus act-1965 provided he/she has worked not less than 30 days in that year.
If your employer avoiding providing bonus to you on the pretext of you took 21 days of leave it is violating the rule.
If you have worked more than 30 days in the year you are eligible to get bonus.
With Regards
Mr.Thumbs Up
