After MBA, i fe joined in a S/W firm as HR Trainee i got pay as Rs.7K after 2 months i ve asked them about my permanent letter and they ve issue with hike of 8K/Pm.. after 2 months i got hike of 3K (ie) 11K/PM im getting.
nw im recruiting under graduate courses for technical side but it is mentioned that initial pay as 7K/PM after 6 months it ll be 14K/PM..im feeling why i ve to do MBA and get the same package which other science graduate is getting...Is this right or wrong..? please give your suggesions on this..

Rajii/Manmitha:
Qualification is important now a days, companies asking for the regular courses not only for the freshers but the guys who has more experience... beause if you are well qualified it is just that you will have professionalism in you and you can pout your efforts and your thinking matters lot;
i agree with you manmitha, probably undergraduates may also be more eligible and that job wouldnt be matching your qualifications
and dont think that why you have done MBA, its good that you did it you know one thing people study MCA or any other degrees what so ever but MBA is to DO... you just cant read and leave it... you should put your thoughts into it and you should know every in and out of the Management that is that we learn isnt it?
i think i have cleared your doubt...
Thanks

Hi..
I am too a recruiter working in a big staffing company.
The issue you are thinking is the same with lots of HR people no matters MBA or Graduates only. As per my opinion and experience, the value of HR person increases with the experience. Technical one may start with High package in the beginning but we do better with the passage of time.
Looking for your response on the same…

Dear Rajjii,
Acquiring higher educational qualifications is not onle meant for getting package.
It helps to deal with your work in a creative and dynamic way.
Its my personal opinion. Since i ve been working with some of my friends who has done only a master degree but me having done PGDHRM, Training at Delhi along with masters degree. But i am also getting the same pay. Even now, planning to take up SAP course and PGDIR.
Never look at the pay in the learning stage instead concentrate on upgradation of your knowledge.
Sorry if you don't like my suggestions.
Truly Yours,

Dear Cite member,
Do you feel, "In an organization, HR and other employees are two sides of a coin" or not. The reason for this is we people are very nearer to top mangement when compared to other departments right. then this is the case we cannot bound our relation with mgt only in monetary terms.
--> we people are meant to retain the technical talent. To retain talent monetary is very crucial, When mgt is ready to give the assisstance for us thru salaries for tech people, ur work for retainment task got easy and we can concentrate "how to make an employee loyal to org apart from money"
--> Also as our cite member said, the value of HR will increase through exp, its right na.
e.g:
A technical person can show his capability thru his results which can be proved in small instances of time but we cannot show our results in short span.
Hope u got some information thru my post, reply me. thank u.
with regards,
Venkatesh

IN FACT I AM ALSO FACING THIS PROBLEM... BUT THE FACT IS THAT TECHNICAL PROFESSIONALS AND THAT TO IN SOFTWARE ARE HIGHEST PAID PROFESSIONALS..EVEN IF THEY ARE FRESHER..
I TOO DID MY M.B.A. & STARTED MY CAREER WITH 7K PM AS A HR TRAINEE, BUT NOW A DAYS B.E...B.TECH's START THEIR CAREER WITH 3LACS / ANUM..
AND ITS TRUE THAT HR PROFESSIONALS GET GOOD PKG WITH THE EXPERIENCE.

Already discussed and concluded in my earlier topic, that in HR more skills rather than knowledge is required.
So in India your MBA degree stands nowhere before a 10 class pass with good communication skills.
Better accept the truth, rather than cribbing on it.
This even i am facing. No value for MBA in HR ,, in HR only what u speak , communicate is valued.
THANKS
