Whether NCP days has to be rounded off to Lower side or Higher side of fraction as per Govt. Norms

In EPF calculations, we have to round off NCP days to whole nos. not a fraction,
i wish to learn whether NCP days has to be rounded off to Lower side or Higher side of fraction as per Govt. Norms.
For Example: 1.5 Days NCP to be rounded off either to "1 Day NCP" or to "2 days NCP."
Please Guide.

Dear friends,
1.5 days NCP means, the member has contributed for whole days + 0.5. Here possibility to round is equal for both contributory and non contributory period. In such cases privilege has to be given for employee.

It is informed that our claim Form-13 has been rejected dur to NCP days clarification not attached with claim Form-13. Hence requested to attached NCP days clarification letter to the establishment along with claim Form 13 for further necessary action.
