I live in India and I have signed a contract of one year with my employer. But now I want to leave my company. However when I sent my resignation email they told me to take legal actions on me.
About the bond:
- It is written on my company's letter head.
- It doesn't contain any stamp paper.
- It doesn't contain any company seal
- It doesn't mention anything about what actions will be taken, they just wrote "Legal Actions will be taken" if I break the bond.
Can someone please help me by telling whether this bond is legal or not. What actions will be taken on me. My HR scared me by saying that they wont give me Experience letter and Releasing letter. They also said that no other company will give me a job and I will never be able to go to any other country because my Visa will never get approved.

Bond is for one year.
How many days/months of employment have you completed?
Have you been given some special training etc by the company?
How much notice are you expected to give as per offer letter?
If you want to resign the company can do nothing much about it.
Every job contract will have an exit route.
Follow the terms of your contract and leave.
No contract can forcibly keep you in the company if you do not want to continue for whatever reasons.
Yes,they can delay or even refuse experience certificate/relieving letter etc,though legally they cannot do it.

Are you and your employers aware of the provisions under Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act 1976 & Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Rules 1976? Any action taken by them or denial of any of your rights for your resignation or so called "Breaking the bond" will go against them for violation of your democratic rights. In case, they have sponsored or provided any training or had any financial liability against you, the same can be rightfully claimed by them which is limited to the financial liability without any interest.

- I have completed 60 days in the company.
- No training was given to me.
- There is no notice period in the contract( in the contract termination section, its written that "Legal Actions will be taken" and nothing else)

- There is no notice period ( in the contract termination section of my bond they only wrote- "Legal Actions will be taken")
As per what everyone is saying, can I conclude that I can terminate break the contract right away and join the other company.
What happens if they don't give me the relieving letter. My new employer doesn't care for the Experience letter and Relieving letter. Can my current employer sue me and my new employer for any reason?
