Today I go for an Interview in HDFC bank for data entry operator.
But they asked me to work for all the seven days in a week and also told me that there will be maximum 7 leave in a year excluding only national holiday.
my question is that can HDFC do such things? as per my knowledge worker can do max 48 hours in a week with a full day holiday and no one can do work more than 10 days without leave as per the Factories act, india.

You are right. 48 hrs should work in a week, 7th day there should be a Weekly off and in case of emergency work if he worked on that day with in 10 days he should take a C Off (Compensatory off).
Pls check u r in their rolls or not, small scale industries are following these rules compulsorily then MNC companies definately follow these rules.
