Greetings!
I have some queries and seek advice on these:
Should the HR be receiving the resignation letter of an employee directly or should it first be submitted to the immediate Manager / TL of the employee?
Many times, the resigning employees ask for accepted / signed copy of their resignation letter even though they do not complete the relieving formalities with us. What can we do in that situation?

Hi friend,
The resignatiosn letters to be sent to the concerned supervior only.
And HR should have a copy to be sent at the same time.
Whatever the decision like acceptance or rejection to be marked as a copy while sending it to the employee.
If it is accepted, the supervisor need to clarify he had accepted or if rejected, what are the reasons.
Dont issue relieving letters, unless they complete exit formalities and you explain the same to all HOD's in the company.

Hi Gunjan,
The resignation should be first given to The immediate boss itself & parallely a copy should be forwarded to Hr Dept.afterwards Hr dept needs to take feedback from the Immediate boss about the employee resigned.later on getting the descision of the concerned one either thru mail or hard needs to issue the Relieving letter.
one thng more needs to be takn care of is the full n final.
