I would like to start my housekeeping services. I am looking forward to all the rules, acts pertaining to minimum wage act, ESIC, PF, service tax, etc applicable to the services in the state of Madhya Pradesh. We have a team ready along with the confirmed contract. The owner of the establishment wants us to start the work immediately.
I want to go ahead after knowing the required details of registration with competent authorities so that every bodies interests are safe guarded.

1. Sir, So far as coverage under ESI Act, 1948 is concerned, please firstly confirm whether the area where your establishment is located is implemented area under section 1(3) of said Act. You can confirm this fact from the nearest office of ESIC i.e. Branch Office or Regional Office.
2. If it is found that area where your establishment is located is implemented area, your establishment will be coverable under said Act if you will employ 10 or more persons.
3. If both the above tests/conditions are satisfied, you may contact the Social Security Officer, ESIC of your area or Regional Director, ESIC , Madhya Pradesh, Indore for obtaining Code Number under above Act for making compliance. ESIC has also established online procedure for obtaining Code Numbers and in order to know the procedure, you may contact the nearest office of SSO/Branch Office Manager of said organisation.
