i m woking as a hr executive in company
i wanna to know that if organisation wants to relief an employee according to his misconduct how many day before it should give an information to employee,is there any choice to relief an employee immediately without prior intimation.

Under State Shops and Establishment Act it is generally provided that no notice is required to be given while terminating for misconduct but that should be done after proper domestic inquiry. Similarly Model standing orders also provide.

The misconduct should be as listed in Misconduct as in standing orders applicable to the establishment (certified/Model)..... The procedure is explained in Sec;14 of Model Standing orders
