Dear Friend
Pl find draft letter
Date.........
To whomsoever it may concern
This is to certify that Mr......................., has worked in our company / organisation as ............... from .............to ................ Having got a better offer else where, he has left the service of our company on his own accord. We found that his conduct and character are quite satisfactory during his tenure with our company.
We wish him all the best for his future assignments

Dear Sir,
This is the format for relieving letter or release letter. Our former employee's new company has asked for consent to call our company's HR department to get the background check for our former employee.Perhaps for a call or email permission they are requiring from our company.
Its clearly mentioned " Consent to conduct the background check"
Thanks !!

I suggest that you respond my mail to the employer saying that they may contact you over your mobile. When they call up, understanding what exactly do they need and respond based on your company practice on the matter.
Thanks.
