our storage is near about 150 Ltr in drum. and 200 Ltr in DG Set.
We use diesel only for DG set. nothing else.

No license required for diesel storage less than 1000 lts in any container . in across India
Diesel comes under class-B (Flash point between 23 to 65 degree )
Justification:
License for storage of petroleum products have been Issued by controller of Explosives of respective states .Based on THE PETROLEUM ACT 1934,& RULES 2002.
Sec:7 No license needed for transport or storage of limited quantities of petroleum Class B,C.
For class B less than 2500lts. Out of 2500lts, any one container should not exceed 1000lts.
For class C storage less than 45000 lts license not required.
Please read section no 7 of THE PETROLEUM ACT for better clarity.
