The following Notification will be published in an extraordinary issue of Telangana State Gazette.
NOTIFICATION
The Government hereby order that 19.08.2014 (Tuesday) shall be General Holiday to the Government Offices/Schools/Colleges including Banks under Negotiable Instruments Act located in Telangana State including GHMC area in connection with Intensive Household Survey.

Hi All,
As far as I know, there is no such act called 'Telangana Shops & Establishments Act'. Currently, Andhra Pradesh Shops & Establishments Act is the only one which is in force and for the newly formed state, if they want to rename, they need to pass a bill in the assembly (modifications, additions, deletions if any) and only after this due process is carried out, an act can be amended in the state level.
