I worked in a company for 6 months as a sales manager and left it with out serving notice period as i dont need the releaving from that company. but they have swent me a notice saying that they have invested 6 months of time in training me so they want me to pay a some of 1,50,000 rs as training fee else they will file criminal charges. can some one guide me on this.

First of all, employment related cases can't be file in crime laws, unless & untill, you have not done any murder or rape etc.. its goes to civil case.
Secondly, if they are recovering the training cost from you then, first point raise that, whether it has been mentioined anywhere that, if incase, you left within any prescribe time, said cost shall be recovered from you..?
if not, then dont worry about it, they can't do anything,
anyway, i am suprised that, which kind of training they have given to you, which cost occure of 1.5 lacks..? its suprising that, is there any company who is investing such kind of amount on training for new joinees..? what is the base of this cost..?
