Dear all,
I am working in an MNC-Bangalore and am still under the probation period.
My offer letter has given me two termination clauses as below
1. Under the header Probation:
"During your probation period your employment with the company may be terminated at any time, without notice or commission or assigning of any reasons thereof and at the sole discretion of the Company"
2. Under the header Termination
"Subject to the applicable law, this offer letter may be terminated by either you or by the Company by providing Ninety (90) days prior written notice to the other party, or by payment of basic salary in lieu of notice in case of termination of employment by the Company"
My doubt is that since the company may not provide me the notice to terminate my employment during the probation, shouldn't it be the same from my side.
Thank you in advance for a reply
Regards,
Dinesh

Dear Dinesh,
These two different letter or same..? if it is same so, it is very shocking to see the different statement in one letter.
Just confirm with your orgnisation, what does they want to say exactly through these two statements.
Generally, first statement use in probation letter & second one use in confirmation or post confirmation.
Regards,
Tushar Swar.
