Hi,
I am working with the company of total 2.6 years and I have gained a very good relationship with the company.
Now I got a offer from a company B where I have got the offer of very good amount 50% hike of my current salary but the location would be NCR region.
Now I have went to the new company B and signed all the legal documents and the e-stamp documents where It was stated that the I was bound to serve the company for he 24 month if not able to serve then I have to pay an amount of 3 Lac rupee. When I consult to my current company then they actually want to retain me. And they are offering more salary than earlier in my home town. Now I found that the current company is more beneficial than the new company B. And I want to be with current company. Can you please tell me that if I deny the first offer and not join the new company B. Then at that situation can the new company B can take any action against me.
Please reply ASAP.
Thanx.

This comment does not answer your question. As a layman, I wonder why people go and sign documents without discussing the offer with the present firm!!
Long ago my friend had faced a similar situation. A company had offered him 30% pay rise. His wife was expecting and she did not want him to change jobs, as he had been without a job for 9 months only about 18 months ago. The firm he was working was a large one and the company that offered him the job was small, though it was nearer. He informed his employers; they offered him a promotion with only 5% pay rise but a better scale. He accepted the offer and informed the other company that he was not joining them.
My sincere advice to people who are offered a better pay elsewhere is to discuss with theirr present employers, especially if their relationship is good and would like to continue with their present employer.

As rightly said by Simhan, apart from that I would also suggest that even an employee should also see the job satisfaction apart from the salary.
Now with regards to your query, the forum will not able to advice since the legal terms are not known, if you have the copy of the signed documents see the legality and act accordingly

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I have not joined the company B yet.
Actually till now I have not denied any of the company. I am very confused.
In my current company their is no work culture. The company is just trying to make money.
their is no Infra, no life tight schedule to work have to work around 11 hours. thats why I was searching for the job.
And I found the other Orgn with more than 500 employee in company B in NCR region. While my company is in UP capital lucknow.
there are ony around 30 employes and I can not see any vision or mission of the company.
But just only benifit for me in the current company is that In heirarchy I am the just second or third person in the receding to their boss.
Please Please Please suggest me what to do.
I can not sleep for last two days. I do not have experience to job change.
Thanx.

Dear Deepak,
You have to decide what is important for you: sitting in your hometown in a company whose work culture you don't like, but you are "a big fish in a little pond" or go away and become "a little fish in a big pond". From what you have written, the big company does not seem to have any ethics (The have asked for a one-sided bond).

hi nashbramhall, Sir then can you please tell me what thing is better for me. What would you suggest me in my situation.
From India, Mumbai
Dear Deepak,
That is a decision only you can take. Quite a few of us left India over 40 years ago to the UK, without knowing what was in store for us. Some of us left our hometowns, others had left their hometowns and were working in other places in India. Some switched jobs a few times before finding one that we wanted; others settled down in job; some prospered and others stood still. Some did not like and returned to India for good; some stayed for a couple of months and returned to the UK for good. Some of our children have left the UK and gone to States, Australia and the Middle East. So, what is best for you is for you to decide.
However, please note. Never look back and regret the decision you take. If things do not workout as you planned, take it as a lesson that you have learnt, Like the saying goes "Failure is a stepping stone to success."

Dear Deepak,
I personally think that you should be ethical in your behavior as a employee. It will help you now and later. Once you have decided to leave please move on. You are not loser. On the top of it you have signed an agreement.please stick to it.
