Dear Seniors, I am working in a Constructions Company as HR & Admin.Our Company has work sites in Gujarat State,We have been appointed a Engineer for Our site at Halvad in Gujarat purpose in January 16th 2013.One of our Company Managing Partner terminate him while his site visiting program on 23rd February 2013.
The Engineer left the work site immediately, our site accountant has given traveling allowances at the time, after one week Our company site account given his salary through bank account, at the time the accountant didn't take any written letter behalf the Engineer. Now The Engg. was sent a letter to my Company MD, in that letter he mentioned that I joined your Organization and I have been continuing since then, I have taken One month salary only. Please give my salary up to date, this is his letter brief, please give your valuable advice regarding this matter.

There is a procedure to adhere while terminating an employee. basically its not followed or properly closed in this case. So now you have to handle this by sending a detailed letter as a reply to him stating his absence from work from the last day of working with a help of an consultant. Try to get as many details about the salary paid/disbursement details, attendance sheet, Summary, Log book/ etc of all employees to substantiate his absence from work. Do it amicably and sort out the issue. Better to create a system to address these type of issue in future.

Depositing the salary in his bank account is acceptable. He can't claim as not having received the salary. Don't worry. send the letter stating that his salary has been credited into his account.
