Hi
No worries, any cheque transaction will be quoted in the statement from whom it has been done. So u can always show that if in case your new comapny requires you to show the bank statement as evidence for actual take home. If its not working out, better get a salary certificate from your employer and keep it for ur reference. If they are not giving, third option would be your latest appointment/increment letter, this will more than enough to prove it. Anyways, if the company is seeking for your salary or deposited details will surely go in for a check with with your employer. So you need not to worry if ur bank statement doesnt replicate your salary deposited.

Cheque is also a legal instrument and the bank statement capture the Cheque transaction. Pon

Hello,
It is a common practice now to credit the employees\' salaries through bank and there should not be any problem in proving the take home pay by producing the bank statements. Moreover, you should be getting the monthly Salary Slip issued by the employer and these Salary Slips could also serve as a valid document to prove your salary drawn by you.

Dear Mr. Arya,
Payments through Bank Cheque is equivalent as NEFT or RTGS and it is also legal and can be proved by the Bank Statement easily.
What you have to do is just take some latest bank statement and mark-out the check clearance transaction. That's it.

Why Aaryacareers is worried, may be he/she has lots of other credits too, to his bank account. About Cheque credits it does not show any narration, in bank statement, as SALARY. While RTGS transfers mostly reflect word ‘SALARY’ in your bank statement (not always). Hence, salary transactions can be easily identified and can be shown as proof.
However, cheque payments are also equally valid proofs as salary. Only thing is that, to prove the amount appearing in bank statement, as salary, a person has to show the Payslip of the related month, where the net amount on Payslip, and bank statement matches. It is acceptable, all over… no need t worry.
