As iam attending interviews but iam rejected for that dont calcultion of PF and ESI please any one suggest me how to calculate PF and ESI

There are many discussions regarding statutory like ESI, PF & PT. Apart from that you should learn Shops & commercial Establishments act. Please search individual discussion in this forum. Any more doubts share the same

Hi Megha,
Please find the details of ESI & PF contribution.
PF Contribution of Employee : 12% of Basic pay
PF Contribution of Employer : 12% of Basic
Cont. goes in 2 parts:
8.33% goes to Pension A/c
3.67% goes to PF Cont. A/c
@ 1.61% towards Admin Charges as under:
1.1% of Basic – PF Admin. Charges
0.5% of Basic – EDLI Charges
0.01% of Basic – EDLI Admin. Charges
Employee ESI Cont.@ 1.75%
1.75% of Monthly Salary Paid (Max Salary Limit for ESI deduction is Rs.6500 p.m. and above Rs.6500 p.m., no ESI deduction to be made from employee’s salary.
Employer ESI Cont.@ 4.75%
4.75% of Monthly Salary Paid (Max Salary Limit for ESI deduction is Rs.6500 p.m. and above Rs.6500 p.m., no ESI deduction to be made from employee’s salary.

Dear Madam, Please note that ESI celling is Rs 15000 per month on gross salary.

Although, most of the things already has been explained by sunandalawania. But, there are other criteria also which can change these calculation process.
So, it is better to do as suggested by Jeevarathnam and any doubt can be further placed here for discussion.
