Dear Members,
I'm a small employee.
Need you help, i'm working with a dotcom industry from last 3 years.
3+yrs old firm with 100 employees, Pune based.
Few months back we came to know that the PF account number they are providing on salary slip is Temporary number (Fake Numbers) given by company is just to maintain their records.
And few days back we came to know that they have changed their name of the firm. Rumors are like they changed their firm name because of their liability to make it ZERO.
I'm little afraid. I just don't want to loose my PF amount.

Of the two suggestions given above, I would like to support the one in Post #2, because, that would not put the employer also in a tight position. You ofcourse need employement. For that the employer should run the company successfully. If you do anything that may upset his business, then you as well as other employees also suffer. Better to adopt a course in which both are happy. Ofcourse, if the employer is not budging and trying to cheat you, you have to hit back by adopting the suggestion in post #3 above.
