Dear Hansa
As stated by Mr.Vargheese Mathew, please refer the applicable state factories rules.
As per, Punjab Factories Rules 1952, Schedule – VIII, Sand blasting is prohibited.
"Prohibition of sand blasting - Sand or any other substance containing free silica shall not be introduced as an abrasive into any blasting apparatus and shall not be used for blasting"
