Hi seniors
Greeting to all
Currently I am working as an HR assistant in Manufacturing Company since one year
We were only 2 persons working in HR Dept. me and my HOD
My CTC is 1.2 per annum however I am getting 7500 in hand per month,
Now I am looking for a change because I can’t fulfill my financial obligation with this salary
And I don’t see any chances that my HOD will make my increment
As he wants to reduce the cost of HR Dept. and
Want to use me at lower salary
So I started to look other opportunities but now, the other employers are asking me
“Why you want to leave Your Current Job?”
I would like to ask you seniors, what should I reply to this Question
Because honestly I am looking for a change due low Salary
But I know such straight forward Answer will not be accepted by future employers
Hence please guide me regarding this
Thank you

You can say this:
The main reason I want to leave the present job is because of the exposure and learning. In the present role, I am the only HR member apart from the HOD. As an HR generalist, I have learnt whatever I could learn from the present role. The learning opportunities in the present role are almost nil. As of now, I am looking for an organization which has a bigger platform to offer so that I can learn more. As growth is the main reason for my change, I am looking at an organization which has a wider spectrum, great learning culture and more stability. Another reason for change is that I am also not very happy with the salary I am getting as of now. I would like to join an organization where I can get salary as per the current industry standards for my role.
