Hello Guys
I was facing some issues in my current organization. And hence was not able to handle the stress. On falling ill regularly my family insisted and I decided to quit. As I had completed 1.5 yrs of tenure there my notice period was 2.5 months and i no longer wanted to go to that place i had sent a resignation email. But they have responded to it by saying that i am absconding.

Actually i have gone through a lot and I know that being a professional its not right but i would like to highlight certain things i was facing here.
Initially when i joined this company it was all going well but slowly everything went wrong.
i. Too much of internal politics which is always initiated by the team lead (my boss)
He would create an atmosphere amongst the colleagues that to prove urself good enough criticize others work. Grab others works and snatch their responsibilities. He would create so much of insecurity that my colleagues would literally fight out with each other on daily basis to prove themselves right.
I never liked the atmosphere nor did i ever get into this kind of politics. But slowly they started doing the same with me. Unnecessarily trying to prove me wrong let me down and etc.
ii. I did raise my voice but it started becoming very dirty and messy. I stopped responding to their attacks and my boss concluded i am not good enough to fight out for my rights. My responsibilities were distributed to them. Things where snatched away from my hand.
iii. I tried talking to my Hr and my boss with whom i had shared a very good rapport. But he just would always say this is wat we want that you guyz fight out and give ur best performance to prove urself. I found it to be so sick of him to think like that.Always he would say to me you whenever i tried to discuss that this environment is making me stressed out and insecure about my job that this a test. But how can 24 * 7 this test be done. Everybody likes to work in a healthy environment not like this.
iv. The last day after which i stopped going to my office an incident took place. I was handling a particular project independently and worked very hard on it. And it was a huge success for which i was appreciated. But just not happy about it 2 of my colleagues started digging their nose into it and kept on saying to the boss to include them in that. Its not that they don't have work. They had enough of work but they won't sit in peace.
v. Then a meeting was called to include them in the project and all my major responsibilities were handed over to them. And i was asked to just train them and handover my responsibilities. I felt insulted and spoke to my boss. He said they are showing lot of interest in this project and now i want u'l to compete and prove. I couldnt take it and hence decided not to go anymore.

It is not the case that they where not happy with my performance. I did receive performance of the month award 4 times. But after putting in all ur efforts and hard work this is not accepted. They have high attrition rate and have a hire and fire policy. Earlier all the senior employees have left due to this unhealthy atmosphere and constant arguments on daily basis. I tried my level best but this took a toll on my health. I spoke to my boss and hr but to no avail. I do feel that leaving like this is unprofessional but trust me i just couldn't take it anymore.

The purpose of our living is to be happy. If the present job is not an absolute necessity, since you have already resigned, probably, by an acknowledgemnet, even if they say you are absconding, they cannot do any thing. But be polite and give your reasons for resigning in reply to their letter saying it has become an impossibility. But notice period needs to be served unless, that is waived or you have leave to that extent, probably, you may not have, because, you have joined only one and a half years ago. Try for another job. Good luck.
