Dear Rajkumar,

The idea that Energy can be saved only during office hours is wrong. Actually, you can save lot more during the non-working hours also.

Any way here are some tips to save energy.

1. Switch off all PC's / Monitors / Printers after closing hours. Actually Monitors and printers consume energy if you keep it on even if they are not working.

2. Replace all window AC's and Start using Split AC. The AC temperature to be arround 20-22 Deg not less than that. Switch off the system during night.

3. Change to CFL where the lighting is used continuously (like the corridors etc reception ... for 4-5 hours minimum.

4. Use Solar Lights for outside area such as walk ways, garden etc ...

5. Keep the lighting to minimum during night.

6. Clean the filter element Air dryer in the toilet regularly.

In the working hours, it will be worth to train the employee in energy saving like

a) switching off the light if not necessary

b) turning off the monitor / PC when going out for lunch / Meeting / outside the office.

c) Not decreasing the temperature in the AC (less than 20)

etc....

All the best,

Regards,

Rajeev
