Dear Senior's
We have decided to terminate 2 worker. one is on company payroll & other is contract employee. After giving several warning they didn't follow rules of company.
So now we have to give them June month salary.. My question is whether we have to give them July month salary as we r giving them one month notice period, but asked them not to come from tomorrow.

Hi,
1. Regarding Workman on your muster roll, you need to follow the labour law and disciplinary rules mentioned in company standing orders.
2. Regarding Contract Workman, it is up to the contractor. Being the principal employer, you can not terminate the contract worker. However you can request Contractor to replace the employee

In the case of worker on your muster roll who have worked for 240 days in a year , you have to give one months notice or pay in lieu thereof. In addition you have to give him retrenchment compensation @ 15 days salary for every completed year of service and also give notice to the conciliation officer of the area and to he government.
