Hi All,
I am in the process to assess through awritten exem applicants who have applied to a T&D position. The competencies I am assessing are: 1) Training Needs Analysis 2) Partnership and collaborations 3) Knowlodge of Adult learning . I was thinking of using scenario based questions to get them demontrating all three competencies.
Would you have any exemples I could use or get some ideas from? Feel free to share a scenario per competency if that's easier.

Dear Hana,
In your competency assessment, you have missed very important competency and that is "ROI on Training". This competency is quintessence of training.
The second important competency is "Organisation's research". TNA in right perspective can be done provided training professional knows how to do the organisation's research and derive the training needs. Else it would be superficial exercise.
Please ignore the above two competencies.

Before i submit my views, i would like to know the roles & responsibilities of T & D professional in your organisation. kindly do let me know if they are required to play the role of a Trainer. If yes, you need to assess the competencies of a trainer in respective domain.
