Hi,
Motivating employees is huge challenge because of the diverse nature of the individuals who make up the work force. That apart, corporate culture has a major bearing on how motivational inputs are perceived to be important / influential / useful/ critical to productivity and employee satisfaction.
Some areas where one can / must focus on to enhance motivation are as under
- Work environment
- Work culture
- Employee expectations
- Growth opportunities for employees
- Employee engagement
- Organizational pride
- Enlightened Management practices
- Effective employees redressal system
- Rewards and recognition policies
That apart the best results are got when the intrinsic motivation of an employee is at its peak and it is supported by reasonable extrinsic motivation.
For presentations I would suggest you look up the links on the right of this screen and also try to do a search on this site.

Hello Jyothirajendran
You can use the bullet points suggested by Mr Jacob and develop the same for your presentation.
Motivation is the driving force to take up seemingly daunting tasks.
But for motivation, people would never attempt difficult tasks.
The inner strength that one gets is the result of motivation.
A motivated individual puts in his mind, heart, body and soul to do a task.
This will improve the quality of work.
You can also try Cite HR archives. I just tried and found a lot of material.
