Hi,
I would like to suggest few critical aspects for measuring Training Effectivness.
First and foremost important thing is - Feedback Forms which ever trainer would have need to be shared to the trainees to check the effectivness, genrally all the training have a measurment scale of 1 to 5 where 5 being highest and 1 being lowest, in addition to that it would also have strong points and areas of improvement section, which once filled will help you to gague the effectivness of training.
Second, ask the respective managers of trainees to take the feedback and you may check with the manager on the feedback.
Third, invite the senior managment as part of your last sesion as feedback session, which they can check with participants and pass on.

Training is a very important concept where two human minds are inter acting. the motivation and involvement plays very important role. present educational system is giving away the certificates with no knowledge on subject. we may have modern sound system with worn out disc. 99% do not have
creative approach. every one wants to generate money with our work. it is better to judge the trainee before we go for methods. students have practiced
academic certificates with out know ing what they have read. they also have practiced how to articulate resume, besides they also learned how to attend phone interview. it is tough to judge who is genuine and deserves fitment in training field. the level if integrity is very rare. i insists upon changing their attitude and aptitude before we take in to the field. skill is out of experience, but the talent is intuitive factor. the talent search is to be made before we impart training. i being an ex IAF individual with 30 years of experience learned that the present youth expects a man who can stand for their welfare, security besides a fraternal superior. they will give their best under cordial environment. bossism will ruin the atmosphere.
genuinety of candidate during his school/college must be review before inducting. all are passing in first class.
at present i am coaching higher class students. i found that 90% of people do not have an idea of triangle.
money orientation is ruining the creativity.

Dear All,
I have conducted a lot of trainings particularly in the area of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, Lean, and 5S.
During the introductory session I show the slide of Agenda
The last session is of WRITTEN EXAMINATION!!!
The examination paper contains MCQ type of the questions on the topic of training delivered.
This is only 15 -30 minutes test with approx 15 to 25 MCQ's
The participants after writing the answers are requested to exchange the answer sheets.
I read the correct answers and the neighbourer checks the answers.
This part of the session is full of FUN learning.
Usually as the Faculty I get hghest scores on the feedback form.
Please note that the Feed Back forms can not be considered as method of evaluating the effectiveness of trainings.
Thanks & Regards,
Sudhir
