Dear Friends,
Sleep is a behavioral state that is a natural part of every individual’s life. We spend about one-third of our lives asleep .People generally know little about the importance of this essential activity. Sleep is a required activity and is important for normal motor and cognitive function.

Dear Friends,
Mr Dewang Mehta head of NASSCOM from 1991 to 2001,
died at 38+ from a massive heart attack caused by Lack of Sleep.
Mr Ranjan Das of SAP, the youngest CEO of an MNC in India, was very active in sports.
He admitted that he would love to get more sleep.
At 42, he collapsed with a massive heart attack and died.
In today's demanding times, Sleep understandably important by one and all tho, remains the most neglected aspect by CEOs, managers & executives and even students, alike.
We believe, the body can adjust. This is actually abuse of a lifelong asset.
Body not only complains, it revolts.
If for any unavoidable reason one has to stretch, the sleep debt should be covered within a week. (a nap during travel).
To students, I always insist for day's schedule to have afternoon rest and extra 1 - 1&a 1/2 hours sleep over the weekend.

Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.
The way you feel while you're awake depends in part on what happens while you're sleeping. During sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development.
The damage from sleep deficiency can occur in an instant (such as a car crash), or it can harm you over time. For example, ongoing sleep deficiency can raise your risk for some chronic health problems. It also can affect how well you think, react, work, learn, and get along with others.
I used to sleep daily 6 to 7 hours in week ends yupee its goes up to 13 hours normally.
