One of the staff member worked with bank in last year for 11 month(he was joined in bank in 2000 and management is refusing to give bonus for 11 month of last year,insuch ca se what will be leagle step to recovery.

Was the employee under the purview of The Payment of Bonus Act.
1. If yes please approach the labour authorities after giving opportunity to the bank officials to pay up.
2. If the answer is no then you have no legal recourse until and unless it is specifically agreed in his appointment letter.
