Dear Mr Dilip,
A good comparison of extremes have been presented.
While Hitler's Authoritarian style would face a stiff resistance,
Chaplin's style may be ineffective in the current scenario.
If we can compare Hitler's style to extremely AGGRESSIVE,
Chaplin's style to a abysmally ineffective state of being called NON ASSERTIVE,
then as pointed out, the middle path may be the best and that is ASSERTIVE.

Hi All,
In todays scenerio, middle path is the best leadership because leader don't what will be next picture in few seconds. Every company wants different type of leadersip and if a perosn is stiff or lenient then he will face problem to manage people as well as company bosses.
So, my thought says - leadership require vaious abilities and skill.
