It is therefore very essential to have minimum understanding of legal aspects of various applicable laws. Most of the MNCs also want an assurance from the Indian counter part of complying with all the labour laws.

There are many labour laws applicable to the business organisation. “Ignorance of law is not a valid excuse” and hence one needs to comply with existing rules and regulations of labour laws to avoid the penal and long term consequences and generate transparency. Participation Fee:

INR 5500.00 per participant + 12.36% service tax

This shall cover course material, lunch and refreshments.

10% rebate in case of 3 or more participants from the same Organization.

Fee is payable by cheque / DD drawn in favour of Focalpoint Management Services.

Cancellation policy:

Fee once paid is non-refundable or non-adjustable in any manner. However, replacement of the participant is allowed

Faculty profile:

1) Mr. Arvind Joshi:

Mr. Joshi is Graduate in Science with Post Graduation in Social work and has added Degree in Law and Diploma in Training and development. With over 35 years of experience in Human Resource Management functions in various roles starting from Basic P & A/ IR role to Strategic & Business HR person’s role in various Indian organizations. His major associations in Corporate were Dishman Pharmaceutical and Chemicals Limited, J B Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Ind. Ltd., Alembic Ltd., Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., and Voltas Ltd. He is expert in Change management, Organizational development, Compensation restructuring, evolving and stabilizing performance management system, Setting HR policies and procedures in line with organizational vision. He has seen major takeovers and mergers and has worked for amalgamation of cultures for such companies. He is also involved and is invited for sessions/ lectures/ presentations in different forums, institutions and colleges.

2) Dr. R. Krishna Murthy:

Dr. R. Krishna Murthy is Director of Mega Ace Consultancy [India] and heading S.R. Mohan Das & Associates, Consultancy firm that specializes in the field of Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management. He also serves as Director of Industrial Relations Institute of India set up by Mr. Mohan Das and Editor of its monthly update ARBITER. Dr. Krishna Murthy has been associated with many organizations in the capacity of a retainer and advisor on various H.R. matters, legal issues, matters pertaining to compliance under labour laws, legal queries, handling issues of indiscipline, termination of employment, etc. He is currently an advisor on a retainership with many corporate companies such as A B N Amro Bank and its BPO , TCS Ltd. and Voltas Ltd., D H L Worldwide Express, Abbott India Ltd., Alembic Ltd., Aristo Ltd., Flamingo Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, etc. Dr. Krishna Murthy has wide exposure and expertise as a trainer having conducted many training and management development programmes in MNCs and Indian organizations. He has conducted several workshops and seminars on behalf of the National Institute of Personnel Management Baroda Management Association, and Industrial Relations Institute of India. He is Ph.D. in Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management and LL.B.
