i recently joined a company as a hr and i want to know about all the responsibilities of hr from start to end.
i want to know about that at the time of joining what should be the joining process and also which kind of joining documents required from new joinees.

HR is a broad function which has various divions like Recruitement,L&D, Welfare, Payroll etc. Please be specific so that we can help by providing specific information.

In regards of Joining, Joining has usually three stages- Prejoining, Onboarding, Post Joining

Prejoining: The prejoining formalities starts when the candidate accepts the offer, this invloves sharing pertinent information with the prospective employee so that his transition becomes sommth and comfirmatable like sharing his/her TA/DA entitlemnent, Booking of Guest House, Sharing offer letter and list of docs that he/she has to bring on the day of joining. Discussion with Line Managers for assigning Buddy, Arranging necessary assets like Mobile Phone, Laptops etc.

Onboarding : The day employee joins the organisation, documentation is completed which invloves filling up PF, Gratuity, Insurance Forms and Othere credentials and its verification (Sharing the list of common docs below), Opening of Bank Accounts etc. The new joinee is given a brief overview about the Company and Employement Policies. It also involves orientation and introduction with the 'buddy'.

Educational Docs

Experience Docs ( Previous Employer(s) Exp Certificate, Salary Docs)

Medical Docs (if done, Co. specific)

Form-13 (If the employees wishes to transfer his PF Account)

Acknowledgement Copy of Appointment Letter

ID Proof

Permanent Address Proof

Passport Size Photographs

HRIS Form (You may prepare this form for the quick access to employee's information and can share during pre-joining)

Post Joining involves updating the employee on regular basis about the various benefits, Common Tools and Processes, Like PMS and arranging their Training Programms etc.

Declaration form for Company Dues
Bank Form (Salary Purpose)
After filling all the form you can add his employment in your ERP system.
You required below documents from the new joiner.
Qualification proof,
Experience Letters,
Reliving letter from previous employer
Pan Card Copy
Passport/ Drawing Licence
Electricity Bill/ Land Line Bill,
7 to 8 Passport Size Photographs
Last month salary Slip
Form -16 (If, Possible)
