Hi Does any one guide how to maintain Petrol log book format through which I should know how many km actually vehicle traveled. Thanks Sujata

HI,
Maintain a book in each vehicle and during the starting of the day write the down the meter reading in the log book and the name of the driver. 2. distance travelled from one destination to another and take the signature of the person who is travelling while getting down at the designation with his mobile number, in case for verification.3. whenever he fills the fuel at the petrol/diesel station let the driver enter the meter reading and quantity of fuel with receipt 4. if possible during office hours send one person from admin. dept to fuel station along with driver for checking purpose.5. surprise checks has to be done at regular intervals. 6. At the end of the day total kms. has to be maintained , the vehicle has travelled. 7. Maintain a monthly account with fuel station which is convenient and nearby to your office and settle the account monthly once and the fuel station will give coupons in triplicate for maintaining the proper bill of accounts.
