Dear Anu, I recommend you writing the letter on your own and uploading it here. Some senior like me will correct it. Attempt writing, then only you will improve. DVD

Dear Anu,

The corrected draft is as below:

+++++

Dear ______ (name of employee)

As a part of Policy on Performance Appraisal, I had conducted your Performance Appraisal (PA), on _____ (date) for the quarter ending ______.

I am forwarding through mail/letter, PA summary of the above appraisal. In our PA meeting, I had given adequate feedback to you. I had coached you on _____. I expect you to maintain same tempo for the attributes for which you have acquired "Very Good" or "Excellent" rating. Please ponder over other attributes and find out what is scope of improvement in other attributes. Should you need further assistance, feel free to contact me.

It is work performance that brings shine to one's career. I wish you to be a shining member of my team.

Thank you.

Note: - Please make necessary changes as required. However, always audit your mail or letter with formula 5W +1H. This formula stands for why, when, where, who/whom, which and how. While auditing the mail, find out whether you have missed out any W or H.

All the best!
