The Current Business Environment is dramatically changing and with it the Role of the HR manager along with the competencies required by him to perform his job are also changing. The HR manager needs to be very flexible and responsive and capable of competing in the global market. He need to know the various facets of the changing Business environment and then respond accordingly.

Your view is completely relevant to the current scenario.....but 1 thing that we should not forget as HR managers is that we need to be responsive and flexible to the changing environment.
For example, Firms are increasingly becoming DE JOBBED these days. the relevance of Job analysis is reducing...as it is becomig more and more difficult to write job descriptions for a particular job.....and they are becoming flexible.......
So what is the HR managers Role in that regard....how can he overcome such barriers........what competencies can be expected from him.............
