Hi Aishwarya
As you briefed you are planning to change the role from Recruiter to HR Generalist many of the organisations may treat you as Freshers. Don't worry to be as fresher if you get better job in good organisations.
You can even convince the ER by proving as you have strong skills as HR Generalist. For that you should learn all the practical oriented Core HR activities. If you have any friends working as HR generalists then you shall take advice from them in all the modules or else you browse through all the topics in this site so that you will get good knowledge.
Then you will get better offer.
Wish you all the best :)

Hi Sir,
Thank u for your reply. As u mentioned,i dn't have any issue to consider me as a fresher in generalist profile...Because i dn't have any idea in the same. But what the salary package all the companies are offering is very less than what i am getting now. That is the main constrain i am facing....

Dear Ayswarya,
Please tell us why should anyone pay you more than any other fresher they take when you in your own words have no idea of the field ( "..Because i dn't have any idea in the same")?
However, if you can reflect on your work experience and say how it contributes or helps to do a GENERALIST's job, you should be able to convince them. For example, when I changed jobs from industry to teaching, I convinced the college interview panel as to how a bit of part-time teaching and industrial experience helped to be a better teacher than a fresher with Teacher Training qualification.
