Whenever a unit of medicine is produced at the factory, it is labeled with a unique code.
When you purchase a medicine you can send this code which is at back of the unit to 9901099010
You will receive an SMS which tells if you the medicine is genuine and provides you will batch number, expiration, and other information.

In India only two pharma companies have been tiuped with the Pharmasecure and that is Lupin & Unicheme only those pharmas product is having ten digit authentic code no. It is good information but if you are working other in country its realy very useful to every one.

That is true. All the drugs that are going to be exported outside India must have this bar code printed. This rule is mandatory and the deadline for this is July 2012. All these information is mentioned in the hoax or fact website, that is precisely the reason why i referred it.
