Dear Members,
I have had been working with Frankfinn Institute of Airhostess Training as Center Head for Baroda branch from Dec 2011- Oct 2012. I had resigned duly and completed my exit formalities as per the company norms. However, I was not paid my Sept month salary though the salary date was always 7th of every month, and I had resigned on 8th Oct evening. Infact they had not made salary to many of the employees for untold reason.
I had been sending them reminders via email however they have been not processing my o1 month salary & F&F settlement nor given me my relieving letter till date with no reasons at all. They have been for one or the other reason trying to harass me as I am demanding my rightful dues. Finally in end of Dec 2011, I had sent lawyer's notice for the same. However they have not replied to the same till date.
I have tried all possible ways to speak to the company and resolve the matter, but it seems they are not interested to settle my account and are under impression that since I am a female I won't be able to do anything against them. Please note this company is already well known for not paying dues to their employees or vendors!!
Kindly please advice what should I do in such case? Does our Law protect employees from such kind of injustice? If yes, then how?
Your prompt response shall be appreciated as I am a working woman and need to get my due amount asap due to financial crisis.
Regards,
Ms Jigna
