Hi,
Due to pressure and harassment I was forced to resign on 16th Feb.I agreed to serve the notice period till 29th feb. but they agreed to pay me the salary till 29th and relieved me. Till date I\'ve not got the relieving letter, experience letter for having worked for 15 months and my salary. I do not get any proper response from them either. Please tell me how I should proceed.

I worked for 15 months. In the appointment letter It is given in writing that there'll be salary revision on confirmation after 6 months. Neither HR Manager, Country Head, person who asked me to join immediately nor the Reporting manager in UK took the ownership to get this done. Infact 4 HR managers have changed ever since I joined. From the 8 month I've been reminding them every month they kept saying it will be done but did it. The UK manager was pressurizing me everyday for some reason or the other he wanted to remove me and also my counterpart in UK. The management failed to intervene. He recently joined and did not want to have Women managers. There are approx 250 employees and I was heading the India center Operations.

Dea Mam,
It seems to be issue linked with your performance or may sudden changes in strategy of management due to some major issue. As you say that 4 HR managers are changed ,there should be some issue with management.Anyhow,it is first to know that whether your confirmation done or not? Who governs the condition in appointment letter? If it is Inidan Contract Act then you can send the legal notice to the mgmt.for your releiving letter, salary.
But it is beeter to opt for a legal opinion because some aspect are not clear yet<

Thanks Mr. Wadokar for your response. It is not only me who has resigned 5 others were also forced to quit. Also as stated earlier 2 women managers in Uk also were forced to resign. Which clearly indicates he wanted to build his own empire by removing us and bringing people of his choice. The 4 HR mangers resigned due to his pressure to increase the Headcount. He played a foul game by not even allowing me to serve the notice period when I had given proper resignation letter. Organizations do not relieve people without serving Notice period and handover of responsibilities. the Quality lead did not even submit a resignation letter
nor was she given a chance to move to any other department. The Qlty Team was also dissolved by him.

Hi Latha,
Just send a vakil notice to your Chennai head on the grounds stated above. It has to point that settlement and letter should be issued to you within a week. Failing which, let it state that steps will be taken to tarnish the image of the organisation on internet and newspaper and book them under law. Foreign cos sometimes take Indians for granted because of ill advice and poor leadership representation on our soil.
Regards
Chandru
