As the employees who are covered under ESI are having he facility like sick leave, medical & hospitalization benfits hence you can extend that facility to the employees who are out of ESI coverage.
Sick leave facility & cover the employees under Health insurance policy. Normally restrict the coverage to the employee, spouse and children, parents are to be covered then the premium will be very high. In addition to this all employees need to be covered under Group personal accident policy which takes care of Workmen compensation in case of accidents. Up to Rs.15000/- pa you can pay to the employee as medical reimbursement which is tax exempted subject to submission of bills.
Maternity leave / bonus are any how to the company's account.
Thanks and regards - kamesh

You can opt for a Group Mediclaim policy with tailor made benefits with Various sum insured. Always preferable are Public sector companies like Oriental, United India, New india and National..
The policy will run for one year and this will take care of medical benefits to all your employees. And if you want to extend support to their familiies even Dependents can be covered.
If you want to get more clarity there are Insurance Brokers (Authorised by IRDA) Insurance Regulatory Development Authority..Few names INDIA INSURE, MARSH, ALMONDZ, AON GLOBAL. etc. Hope this will help.
