Dear Seniors,

Im newly joined in one of the manufacturinig company past three months before. Im having 5 plus years of experience as a HR generalist. In my new company i've introduced HR releated activities which is not having in my present company. whats the problem now im facing is my CEO is not allowing me to discuss with him regarding HR activities. He is telling that i need to co.ordinate with the admin people. The person who is in the admin only can report about my work to the CEO. They did not assisgn any work to me till now. If im implementing any activities in HR they are making delay to report to the CEO. And my CEO is not interested to discuss about my work. Even i didnt get appointment letter too. Everyday im remaining to the admin people regarding my appointment letter they are telling today or tomorrow we will discuss about this with the CEO and release my appointment letter.

Please suggest me how to handle this? orelse shall i search for any other job?.

Note: i've already worked in this company two years after completed my PG.

Please suggest me and help me.. i think im wasting the time here without having any activities its spoiling my growth.

Hi Cynthia,
In most of the companies internal politics are there, you told that you have worked in this company previously so you might know the ethics and none of the companies will give salary for idol. you better talk to the ceo and get your job profile.

talk, talk, until you get a reply, persuade the management to reply to you. You can solve it by face to face discussion.
You must be very tactic and find time to speak to them and get the things done.
Hope you can understand the point.

Hello dear,
often in manufacturing companies, HR is not treated as separate department, specially where top mgt doesn't recognize or realize.
To my mind, you're being ignored, because HR is ignored there. my suggestion will be not to waste your valuable time anymore. You can take some time to convince CEO to show HR benefits, but not too much.

I believe this member has a valid point. I would suggest, you may try to persuade once with the Management, but not too much and also, keep in mind to take care of your career and growth.
At the end of the day, your career is most important than spoiling it with this kind of companies. Growth is associated with you and company as well. They cannot ignore just like that an employee, who wants to put in much of hard work and sincereity.
Finally, career is most important as I stress it again.

With your expertise try to find some time with him. It must be a time when you can persuade upon him the issue and find a solution.
You are the best judge to decide on proper timing to speak to him.
