Is a person entitled to get credit of Earned Leave, Sick Leave and Casual Leave for a period during which he/she is on Leave with Loss of Pay? Thanks Ravi

Hi Ravi,
LOP itself is self explanatory term that it's not being associated with any other category leaves.
In some companies during probation, employees are not allowed to take any type of leave and if he/she has to take a leave that will be counted as LOP. In this case, no CL, SL, EL will be counted into this.
For the confirmed employees, it becomes the department head's descretion or the attendence system's consideration whether to adjust this LOP against any other category leaves, subjective to availability.
In majority of the cases, I observed that leaves get adjusted into available quota and it fully depends on the understanding between the requisitor and approver. If the requisitor does not have sufficient balance of leaves, they will fall into LOP.

Thank You Sir My question was little different. Let us say a person is on LOP for three months. Will the three months be considered for computing and crediting the earned leave or casual leave.

LOP will not be considered for EL/CL eligibility and the same will deducted proprtionately. Pon
