It is a formal meeting in person, especially one arranged for the assessment of the qualifications of an applicant called PRE-INTERVIEW. It is a conversation, such as one conducted by a reporter, in which facts or statements are elicited from another for example.

From India, Gurgaon
A pre-interview questionnaire is used by an employer to get further information about a job applicant prior to a job interview. Applicants may need to provide some of the same information that is on their resume, cover letter and/or the job application they submitted.
The questionnaire may also ask questions related to your background, your skills, your experience and your availibility for work. The pre-interview questionnaire may be completed online or via email.
